Workforce Center

What is the Pikes Peak Workforce Center at Tri-Lakes Cares?

The Workforce Center is El Paso County’s northern satellite of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center (PPWC).

The branch assists clients in obtaining employment, and therefore aiding achievement of self-sufficiency.  It is open to anyone in the State of Colorado, however to use branch services clients must first register with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center.  At the Monument branch, a staff member of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center and several Tri-Lakes Cares volunteers are available to assist clients with the following:

  • Registering with the Pikes Peak Workforce Center (Registration requires a Social Security Number.)
  • Filing for unemployment
  • Applying for jobs
  • Writing resumes
  • Creating cover letters
  • Preparing for interviews

Clients have access to a computer with Internet access, a local jobs board, other job listings, a printer, and a copier.  Tri-Lakes Area businesses are encouraged to include notifying the Monument branch of available job openings.

The Monument branch of the Pikes Peak Workforce Center is located upstairs in the Tri-Lakes Cares facility.
